KOI POND BUBBLE BEAD FILTER ULTRAZAP 3 BAG

The Ultrazap 3 Bag Bubble Bead Filter introduces a highly efficient and user-friendly approach to filtration for Koi Ponds and Aquaculture tanks. Offering a combination of mechanical and biological filtration, this closed pressure vessel system is equipped with thousands of plastic beads, creating an effective barrier for dirt particles while also serving as a nurturing ground for beneficial bacteria.

Key Features:

• Mechanical Filtration: The densely packed beads capture and hold dirt particles, with a biofilm layer that thickens over time to trap even finer debris, ensuring clear water.
• Biological Filtration: The biofilm around the beads also serves as a habitat for beneficial bacteria that break down harmful nitrogenous wastes, converting them into non-toxic substances.
• Low Maintenance: Equipped with a simple backwash mechanism and a blower, the cleaning process efficiently removes trapped dirt without disturbing the vital bio-film, making maintenance straightforward and less frequent.
• Healthy Pond Environment: By fostering a balanced ecosystem through natural biofiltration, the need for chemical additives is significantly reduced, promoting a healthier environment for fish and plants.
• Energy Efficiency and Reliability: Designed for optimal energy use with no internal moving parts, reducing operating costs and increasing reliability.
• Superior Clarification: Demonstrates higher effectiveness in removing solids compared to traditional sand filters, ensuring superior water clarity.

Benefits:

• Gentle Backwash: Protects the bio-film during cleaning, maintaining the filter’s effectiveness.
• Simple Operation: Easy to understand and manage, with no complicated procedures.
• Energy Savings: The efficient design minimizes energy consumption.
• Durability: The bead media never needs replacement, offering longevity and cost-effectiveness.
• Automatic Self-Cleaning: The hands-free backwash process allows for regular maintenance without hassle, preventing sediment buildup that can fuel algae growth.
